Shahid Qamar

Shahid Qamar is the Senior Director of Growth Initiatives at Merlin, where he leads strategy and business development efforts for the company’s federal sales organization and drives revenue growth across the public sector. In this role, he works across Merlin’s comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio to enable sales teams and develops go-to-market strategy that aligns to government programs and key mandates and initiatives.

With more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology, Shahid specializes in cybersecurity focusing on solution development, architecture, and engineering for public sector clients. Prior to joining Merlin, he held sales and leadership roles at organizations including Palo Alto Networks, CGI, and Northrop Grumman. Shahid holds a Master of Business Administration in Program Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University.
